Production work has started but it could be a few months before it is possible to order in paper.

How about in Palm Reader format?

Postby a2history » 2003 10 31 1653

Mr. Sutcliffe,

I could send you "The Peace" translated to Palm Reader format, if you would be interested in having that format as an additional offering. E-mail me if you are interested in viewing it. (I find it most convenient to read books on my Palm).

I'll pass that suggestion to my publisher, as I am not directly involved in that aspect of the book distribution.

Palm version

Postby a2history » 2003 11 01 0725

Well, it is a trivial matter to make the conversion to the PalmReader format; it took me just a couple of hours to do it. And the "Drop Book" application that does the work is currently a free download on the Palm digital publishing web site. The only part that does not convert properly are the hanging indent entries in the Epilogue; I just did them as indented sentences and it works out quite similar. The PalmReader version even can include the cover art and the drawing of the Timestream.

I'm please to advise that The Peace is now in paperback. See our main site, store page, for a list of paper retailers. The Friends and The Exile will both be in paper as well within a month.
